There are several types and grades of stainless steel, each tailored for specific applications based on their composition and properties. The most common grades used in architectural, food medical industries are Austenitic Stainless steel ( Series 300 ). SS 304 being the most widely used stainless steel, found in kitchen equipment, food processing, and medical devices. The other is SS 316 which is similar to 304 but with the addition of molybdenum, making it more resistant to corrosion, especially in chloride environments (marine and chemical applications being the most common grades among them. There are additional Stainless steel grades like Ferritic SS, Martensitic SS , Duplex SS , Precipitation – Hardening SS etc where in the composition varies and accordingly its characteristics.

HAS Engineering is capable of various process on stainless steel including custom designs , metal cutting, forming, welding, finishing etc. We make us of wide range of machineries including Laser cutting, shearing machines, press breaks, rolling machine in the fabrication process. Our SS welding process includes Stick welding for higher thickness , MIG welding for intermediate materials, TIG for high quality & Laser welding for precision works.

HAS Engineering does various finishing process for Stainless steel to enhance its appearance and protect it from corrosion including Polishing, Buffing , Passivation & further specialized coatings as per requirements of clients.

All finished SS products are checked for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and structural integrity. Further as per requirement. In some cases, testing methods like x-ray or ultrasonic testing may be employed to detect defects in welded joints or material strength.
